Letterkenny Gaels GAA
Letterkenny Gaels GAA Club was founded in 1996, to provide Gaelic Games and activities to an expanding population in the town and surrounding areas of Letterkenny. The club, which is the youngest in the County, caters for all age groups in football, ladies football, hurling and Scór.
Based in the largest town in Donegal, we want to ensure that the sense of belonging often felt in small, rural clubs, is to the forefront of Gaeil Leitir Ceanainn.
Letterkenny Rugby Club
Founded in 1973, Letterkenny RFC is a grass roots club with a firm grounding in their local community. Thanks to the efforts of a small but dedicated group of volunteers, the club has seen a recent resurgence at senior level, with two men's teams currently in the running for league and cup success. Boasting a thriving mini rugby section, as well as boys and girls youth sections that continue to go from strength to strength, producing players who have represented Ulster and Ireland underage teams, the future of Letterkenny Rugby Football Club is certainly bright.
